The much-beloved zine picnic returns to Kaunas Artists’ House!
For the third year in a row this event, initiated by Kaunas Artists’ House, invites you to explore this independent publishing form on Saturday, the 11th of May, 1-6 pm.
The picnic proposes to explore the broad variety of zines (DIY publications/magazines): the picnic, reflecting the contexts of independent publishing and alternative, communal, critical thought, will showcase artistic, cultural, political, childrens‘ and other zines. We invite everyone who wants to bring their own zines, share them, discuss, browse and exchange.
The picnic will host publications from “Kitokia Grafika”, contemporary art and theory bookshop “Six Chairs Books”, moreover, KAH Infocentre will present its zine collection and will invite attendees to enrich KAH’s reading room with their own suggestions.
