Kaunas artists

3rd December, 6-9 p.m., the Kaunas artists’ house space will be warmed up and illuminated by the colorful birthday mosaic, carefully prepared by the artists who respond to the contemporary pulse.

the performance by the interdisciplinary art creator Saulė Noreikaitė. This performance was exclusively created for the occasion of KMN’s birthday. Through the combination of visual arts and contemporary dance, we will have a unique opportunity to take a fresh look at the environment and context of Kaunas artists’ house;

the music by the band “Liudmila”. It’s their first performance in Kaunas! “Liudmila” is an interdisciplinary art project created by Miša Skalskis and Milda Januševičiūtė. This project examines emotional health and the manifestation of alienation in the modern household. At the birthday event of the Kaunas Artists’ House, the duo will present a performance that expands their previous sound experiments by playfully combining elements of pop music to explore themes of melancholy and every day worries. Later, the artists will continue the event with a music selection;

the birthday culmination—the object-cake created by the artist Maria Nemchenko. Last year, during the anniversary of KMN, Marija presented the LAK exhibition. We continue our collaboration with the artist; this time, the edible work will mark the changes happening in Kaunas and worldwide.
