The programme shown at the Kaunas Artists’ House consists of three feature films and four thematic short films, covering his works from the first rebellious films of the 60s to the most recent works that analyse media, forms of war representation and consumer society.

Since the beginning of his creative career in the 1960s, Farocki created over 100 experimental and documentary films, video essays and video installations that are screened in cinemas as well as various art centres and galleries. Farocki worked as a text writer and editor at Filmkritik magazine during 1974-1984, taught at University of California, Berkeley and the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, and was awarded a special jury prize at the Venice Biennale in 2015.
