The four-day camp program from August 19th till 22nd will consist of creative sessions led by Lithuanian slam laureates and creative literature workshop hosts as well as a guest author Martine Johansen. The final event of the camp will open to the public. Here the participants of the camp and Martine Johansen will present their work together with local poets who create in English.

Kaunas Artists’ House (KAH) announces call for applications for summer (guest) residencies.
We announce an open call for summer (guest) residencies on the following dates: July 9-31, August 8-31, September 3-21. The deadline for submitting applications is June 26, 2018.

After a year-long break, the more than a decade old festival “Centras” was reformed in 2017 as a curated international artistic residency.

The first resident of 2017 fall season at Kaunas Artists’ House is “Six chairs books” – a contemporary art and theory bookstore founded by researchers and curators Justina Zubaitė and Viltė Girdzijauskaitė. In Kaunas, “Six chairs books” is aimed at gathering a community of book lovers, traders and readers.
